Love Is An Action

Loving actions can be a game changer in any relationship. If I'm not getting the love I want, I know I have not truly shown the person how I want to be loved. I do this by simply taking loving actions that I believe are important to the other person.

Loving actions can be as simple as texting a sweet message to check on someone struggling (even if they drive you crazy with their whining), sending a love note via snail mail, cooking their favorite meal or just spending time listening to them uninterrupted with no return of an opinion. All sound simple but can be difficult when I feel as though the other person is not showing me they love me through their actions or words. Especially words. Once said it's permanently planted a seen in the other person's mind that you can't un-plant.

Today I am going to only use kind and loving words with myself and other, demonstrating what love truly is!
