Shelter In Place (SIP)

I’m very familiar with SIP. My sign is Cancer, I'm a moon child, and have been known to retreat into my shell when frightened or hurt. I’m tough on the outside, living the motto - Put on your big girl panties and get over it! But, on the inside, I’m just a softy. I am a peacemaker who wants to spread love and just have everyone get along.
Lately, SIP means something different for me. I have begun to turn to my inner sanctuary when I need to ground myself. It’s my favorite place to visit in the morning during my prayers and meditation. It’s a place where I can return, anytime of day, when I need to reconnect with myself. A place to check in with how I’m feeling, dispose of energies I’ve allowed to enter my space and refill that space with some much needed self-love. That's a thing you know. I learn more and more every day how to love myself and, why loving myself allows me to live my dream of sharing the power of love with others.
My inner sanctuary is a special place where I can accomplish anything. It’s where I visit when I want to send a message to the Universe, manifesting all that I desire that is in support of my development, and ultimately to others.
I’ve been practicing and learning more about how to train my mind to return home, to my inner sanctuary, through meditation for over 8 years. Each time I settle into my shelter in place, I feel a sense of peace, connection with something much bigger than me, and I can let go just a little more.
If you are interested in learning more about the power of meditation, and how it helps to create the superpower - mindfulness, give me a ring. I love to share this gift with those open and interested in it’s power.
